If you
are attracted to the Bahamas by our wonderful climate and friendly people and
would like to get “out and about” and enjoy this to the maximum
then you may be considering renting a convertible car or perhaps a Jeep.
If this is the case then we would like to introduce you to the Bahama Buggy. This is our unique version of the well-known California style dune buggy manufactured by ourselves here in Freeport.
Unlike the Manx style of dune buggy we do not use a shortened
VW chassis. Our cars are the same size as the original Volkswagen Beetle and
have seat belts for four people. They have an easily removed convertible top
and for your safety they also feature a full roll cage.
Our
buggies are much cheaper to rent than a convertible or Jeep. This is definitely
low cost fun.
As a part of our commitment to quality service we provide complementary
maps and can assist with driving directions. We can also provide you with recommendations
for local attractions and activities.

All Buggies feature no doors, standard shift and automatic fresh air!
For your convenience we have a rental facility located in the Regional Air office premises at The Grand Bahama International Airport in Freeport.
If you would like to reserve a Buggy in advance you may contact
us by phone, Email or the secure reservations page on our website. Our complimentary
pick up/drop off service is also available at the Freeport Harbor (Including
the Discovery Boat terminal) Just call us when you have cleared Customs and
we will be right there!
There are no mileage charges. Minimum Drivers age is 25 years. A valid driver’s license is required. Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is optionally available at the above rates. A Credit Card is required (We accept all major Credit Cards) Renter is responsible for fuel charges. Buggies are standard shift.
Complimentary pickup and dropoff on all rental of two days and longer(some restrictions apply).
